Who Writes This Sh*t?

Here’s lookin’ at me, kid.

Welcome to VeggieMacabre. A place filled with mystery, excitement, nonsense and mayhem. Actually, it’s just a place I come to share a fly white guy’s approach to understanding life and all it’s wonders. And by “fly” I mean someone who just doesn’t get it but fakes it until he makes it. That’s what I do!

So I will leave you with this and enjoy the tour through my eyes in the world of VeggieMacabre.

“A Butterfly in the sky,

I can fly twice as high.

Just take a look

It’s in a book.

It’s a mother fucking Reading Rainbow”

  1. I’ve seen you around blog-land and I just read a few of your posts….you are so funny in an unassuming way, and you seem to have a heart to it too….hmmm…it’s official, I have a blog-crush on you ;-) (is that awkward?)….I’ll be back, that’s a guarantee :-)

  2. Keep up the good work.

  3. I work for this small online jewelry company http://www.superiorweddingrings.com and I want to know if you would be interested in adding a link to that website from your blog. We have small bribes we can offer if you are interested. Thanks for your time. Keep blogging!

  4. Excellent reading here – I have to agree with romi41 above… after reading a number of your posts, I sort of have a blog-crush, too. I’m bookmarking you now so I can keep up.

  5. Oh Megan, he is SO blog-crush worthy ;-) And a satisfying blog crush at that; I mean all these months and I still can’t get enough! :-)

  6. Hello mister! I tagged you in my last blog. You have to take a photo of yourself AS IS and post it as soon as you read this. No primpin’, pimp.

  7. Hi,

If you want to add Facebook or email sharing buttons to your blog posts, there’s a plugin that does it for you: http://tinyurl.com/sharebuttons

    Hope you find it helpful!

    Cheers,

Thats funny, I was going to say the same thing about you…
FYI, you now have quite the following here in Calgary. My friends and I were even going to start a fan club…the only problem was that none of us can pronounce “macabre”.

  9. Hi,
I was just google-searching where I can purchase Stephen Gammell’s illustrations (outside of in a book– I’m looking for a photo or reproduction that I can get framed) and I’m not finding anything, but I did stumble accross your blog entry about him. I thought I’d reach out and just try asking if you had any idea where I could get them??

    Thank you!
    - Stephanie

    • Hi Steph,

I wish I knew because I would be rocking some Stephen Gammell in the living room right now. I’m sorry. Thanks for dropping by!

  10. One entry is all it took to make me bookmark this hilarious blog. And I almost NEVER bookmark blogs. I’ll be back.

    • Thanks J! I hope to see you around here.

  11. Just read the “Where did you go?” section and thought you might be interested to know that my partner is the cop that arrested the Dell computer dude. We spotted him walking on the street carrying more than a pound of the stuff I wish was legal. At the time we arrested him, he was wearing a Scottish Kilt, which helped him stand out that much more. We had know idea who he was until one of the younger cops recognized him…of course we yelled;” Dude!!…..You have a CELL!!!”

Your blog is fantastic. I find myself paroozing the IMDB all the time looking for those obscure actors. Sees like if you are under 13 and get a lead in a movie, you are doomed.
