ooooh….I love this idea, and I love how you’re actually going to celebrate our holidays!

Well…I know the egotistical thing to do would be to choose a day that’s upcoming in 2008, because it’s that much sooner to forcing you to recognize and celebrate my holiday, but NO, I am going to be okay with missing 2008.

SO.. I choose February 21st as “Stick Your Face in a Cake Day!”…and the why on the “When”? Because it’s a week after the holiday that I find oh so unnecessary and cheap (i.e. if you REALLY love someone, get them a card or some chocolate or some “lovin” on any old day….right? RIGHT). And the why on the “What”? Well, I find that sticking your face in a cake is a super-fun thing that would 100% make you laugh, and also you get to eat cake. I just think that we’re always encouraged to 1. be serious and 2. eat less things like fatty cake in our lives, so this kills two birds with one stone.

The first album I ever bought was Bowie’s 1983 album “Modern Love”. He’s the only rock star I’ve forgiven (and excused) for his snaggle teeth.

I make up my own holidays all the time… great excuse to go shopping. Today was “get yourself and manicure and shoulder massage” day.

Galileo, I always remember that day, it is also my parents anniversary. My dad had me convinced when I was 5 that he was a pirate, so it’s fitting.
