“A trisket, a trasket, a gnome is in your…cracker box?” Sorry ’bout your “mystery nibbler”…what a thing to discover! When I was in college, I lived in an apartment w/ some friends and we had an ant problem in our pantry. I was the lucky one to discover it when I noticed them floating in my cereal milk. Nothing like looking down to take another bite and thinking “Hmmm, those are funny looking raisins…they’re swimming.” Gives me shivvers just thinking about it…blech! At least gnomes are kinda cute! At least yours are…oh wait, that sounded kinda dirty: “Hey, nice GNOMES!”

I lead a life of choosing to be naive. Much like walking out of the bathroom with toilet paper on your shoe, if you can say “that didn’t happen” then perhaps it didn’t. I like to imagine gnomes nibbled my cracker.

Oh my.

You would definitely see evidence of a mouse, I think.

I probably would just tell myself about 20 times over that it was a mishap at the factory… with closed eyes, furrowed brow, and while rocking in the fetal position. But then, aybe the image of an underpaid factory worker taking a nibble out of your triscuit really isn’t any more comforting than the mouse theory.
